The Crown attorneys in the confidential sources case revolving around documents given to National Post reporter Andrew McIntosh seem to be suggesting that journalists could suppress crimes if journalists could protect the identity of confidential sources. Worse, they seem to have a sympathetic ear from the judges on the Supreme Court of Canada panel hearing the case. more »
