Globeandmail.com changed its look back on April 23, and then unveiled what I presume is the full meal deal on Tuesday. But who knows?

This new look is much like the Report on Business page unveiled last month. I must confess to some confusion as to why they didn't roll out all changes at once.
Anyways, for the lead story, a bigger picture and a heavier, darker font for the headline, all in a field of white space.
The first column on the left seems to be a mix of news (Doer winning in Manitoba, Sarah Hampson, two blog links, the Cannes special report, the editor's choice feature).
Next is the main dose of news, then what they are now billing as the Multimedia Centre: Photo galleries, interactives and video.
Once upon a time at globeandmail.com, newspaper columnists were seen to be a draw. While you don't see them easily on the screen cap above, you have to go down about 3.5 screens on my monitor to see the general news commentary.
Above that section is another link to Andrew Willis's blog (why is he so important that he needs two links?)
