If you are mildly disorganized in your shopping and buy a package of processed cheese slices (say non-fat Swiss, for argument's sake) one night, only to discover when you got home that you still have an unopened package in the fridge, it does not matter. Unopened packages of processed cheese slices, properly refrigerated, have a lifespan of 1,000 years. Improperly refrigerated, 500 years. |
