Stewart Dimmock went to court to block British schools from showing Al Gore's film An Inconvenient Truth.

Much of the media painted the struggle as a David-and-Goliath affair (the Globe loved the ruling enough to editorialize on it).

As it turns out, "David" had some deep pockets behind his struggle.

The Globe and Mail's editorial board has called for an asterisk to be attached to Al Gore's Nobel Peace Prize over a British judge's criticism of the documentary and his requirement that some explanatory notes be attached when it is shown in schools.
