View Article  Old goat 'marriage' story generates traffic hiccup at BBC Online

Back in February, the Beeb ran this story: Sudanese man forced to 'marry' goat. A dowry payment was apparently required because he had sex with the animal. Given the hundreds of thousands of news stories in the world since, one would think it would have been quickly forgotten.

All of a sudden, though, the story caught fire again recently. An excerpt from the Beeb's The Editors blog (posting by Adam Curtis, world editor of BBC Online):

CTV.ca ran an election blog during this past winter's federal campaign. Everyone thought that worked out reasonably well.

As a result, the site launched a politics blog on Monday, which can be found at http://politicsblog.ctv.ca.
