Here's a feature I wrote Wednesday night for CTV.ca News on the terrible events at Douglas College in Montreal on Wednesday afternoon.

The bottom line in these cases -- and with workplace and domestic shootings -- seems to be damaged people colliding with significant social/personal rejection.

However, we don't know the relationship of the 25-year-old shooter with the school yet. Is he a current or former (or expelled) student? Did he work there? Some students say they never saw the guy before (he had a Mohawk, so you'd think he'd be noticeable.

Is this a school shooting or a shooting that occurred at a school?
