who employs me
I am a staff writer with CTV.ca News. That operation is part of CTV News, which is of course nestled into CTV Inc. and CTVglobemedia.

I don't speak for my employer on this blog. I don't comment about the internal affairs of my employer.

Any views expressed here are my own.
View Article  Couple good reads elsewhere

Read Zerby's post Closed Doors, about the story done by the Montreal Gazette's Elizabeth Thompson on the advice given to the Tories by Republican pollster Frank Luntz.

Barry Reuger posted at Canadian Journalist about a plan by HBO to do a comedy based on journos at the Palestine Hotel in Baghdad! A true WTFF story! According to Barry,  the Wonkette headline was "Iraq War Jumps Shark" (!!!)

Update

Luntz appeared on CTV Newsnet's Mike Duffy Live on Tuesday. Right at the end of the interview, he dissed Thompson -- although he didn't specify the nature of his complaints about her story. He asked people to dig up her email addy and write the Globe and ask her to be more accurate (ironically, Duffy pointed out she was a Gazette writer; the Globe picked up the CP version of her story).
