So far, them there Jesus cartoons I posted up ain't gettin' me any death threats or nuthin' like that. I reckon there's sum diff'rence on accounta the Islams gotta rule against makin' any pitchers o' Moe Hammet. The Xtians ain't got any rule against pitchers o' Jesus H. Christ. Most every church has got a pitcher sumwheres. They ain't jokey jokes but they're pitchers - or else they got statues.

I see there's a lot more behind-the-scenes co-ordinatin' goin' on than what it mighta loooked like early on. This ain't just a innocent mistake by a fre-speech-lovin' MSM editor that caused a spontaneous uprisin' in the mideast. The newspaper musta known they was bein' provocative an' the hotheads was lookin' fer a cause so's they could whip the ignorant masses inta a frenzy.

Now, folks is gettin' killed. Both sides oughta be hangin' their stoopid heads in shame, sez I.

No probs. A few of the cartoons I wouldn't have run, but hey ... :)

I think it's partly a miscalculation by the editors and by the Danish Muslim community. They took some other drawings to the Middle East that were wa-a-a-y more inflammatory than those printed in the newspaper, and were surprised when Middle Eastern Islamists used those others to whip up public anger.

But you're right when you say that the European Right and the Islamist radicals both see this as a "win-win" situation. :(
