who employs me
I am a staff writer with CTV.ca News. That operation is part of CTV News, which is of course nestled into CTV Inc. and CTVglobemedia.

I don't speak for my employer on this blog. I don't comment about the internal affairs of my employer.

Any views expressed here are my own.
So, what are you watching and listening to these days?

If you were a CBC junkie before, have you kept watching and listening to CBC broadcasting and using the CBC website throughout this lockout period?

Have you migrated to private broadcasting/Internet offerings or the various alternative forms of those media?

Have you tried out any of the CBC workers' podcasts or other offerings?

Or have you just spent less time watching TV and listening to radio or surfing the Net?

Far more time listening to a mix of the 2,000+ songs (on random) on my iPod, the occasional podcast (CBC Radio 3, 2600.com, Al Franken).

I miss CBC Radio One far more than I miss CBC Television, although the latter has its own merits, and it's generally a good counterpoint to most of the abhorrent shit that is on the dial (which I suppose is a misnomer for the alleged 500-channel universe).

Although between yourself and Gushue, I am not wanting for updates on the progress or lack thereof regarding talks and goings-on.

I'll take the last sentence as a compliment. :)
