Just after midnight, CBC locked out the 5,500 members of the Canadian Media Guild.

The issue is outsourcing (read this CTV.ca story for a primer; here's The Globe and Mail's story).

Oddly enough, one place to get CBC employee views on this is at CBC Watch, a decidedly non-pro-Corpse site.

One that definitely has lots to say is Our Public Airwaves -- which sees the underfunding of the CBC as the root of pretty much every form of evil in this world. :)
