Homolka seeks court ban on reporting about her

Karla Homolka is reportedly seeking an extremely broad court in order to stop the news media from reporting about her.

An excerpt from the CP story carried on CTV.ca:

The conclusions are vast,'' (lawyer) Mark Bantey said Tuesday.

"Essentially, I think she's asking us to stop writing about her altogether.''

Bantey, who will represent several media when the case is heard in Quebec Superior Court on Wednesday afternoon, said he received the information from Christian Castonguay, a legal-aid lawyer acting on Homolka's behalf.

The motion was to be served to various local and national media later on Tuesday.
