I just determined my fridge is exactly seven beer bottles deep -- a week's worth of supply per row, assuming very moderate consumption. But beer is sold primarily in multiples of six -- six, 12 or 24, leading to symmetry and space utilization issues. I say either the fridge-makers should make a six-beers-deep fridge, or the beer-makers should make a seven, 14 or 28-pack. |
