I've been a big fan of Ms. Zerbisias for a while so I was excited to find out she had a blog.

I would agree that a public comment section would make it more interactive. Plus, I was kind of hoping to see some more personal stuff on it. Sort of a "behind the column" type of thing.

But otherwise it's pretty cool to see that the Star is creating blogs for its writers.

Apparently she's posting something on her blog on the 'no comments' thing.

But as you've no doubt found on your blog, comments are great as long as people are responsible. If you attract a lot of wingnuts, then they become more problematic.
