The Toronto Star's Antonia Zerbisias has added media blogger to her media columnist duties. The blog apparently launched on Friday the 13th. Make your own joke here. :) I do have a question: Hey Zerby, why no public comments? (Thanks for the link, BTW). Her colleague John Sakamoto has turned his anti-hit list into a podcast. Here's a link to the Star story about all of this. The Star promises more blogs to come.

Newsweek magazine has apologized for any errors in a story that set off rioting by angry Muslims, but especially in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It all stems from a sentence in a little yarn about guards at Guantanamo Bay supposedly flushing a copy of the Koran down a toilet. more » |
