Remember Shock and Awe -- or, more properly, shocknawe? Comical Ali? Jessica Lynch?

Actually, I'm surprised that Comical Ali -- better known as Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, Iraq's minister of information back in the day -- and Private Jessica didn't merit pictures in the gallery.

One incredible story was how a convoy of journalists came under friendly fire on April 6 in northern Iraq.  Image 20 shows the bloodied face of the Beeb's John Simpson, who kept reporting. I believe the CBC's Margaret Evans was in that same convoy.
