If you're interested in reading my CTV.ca review of The Assassination of Richard Nixon, you know where to click! If you don't, click here.

The quick version is that it's worthwhile first-run fare if you're in the mood for a serious, intense film and you like Sean Penn as an actor.

It's got a talented cast: Naomi Watts and Don Cheadle are both in it, and Aussie Jack Thompson does a great turn as the overbearing sales alpha male.

However, if you aren't in the mood for something that's bleak and at-times painful to watch (it's a character study about someone's life falling completely apart), then stay away.
