The Oscars are on tomorrow night! Big deal.

It tends to reward films, actors and directors I don't particularly like, and snubs the ones I do.

How is it that Martin Scorcese has managed to go his whole career without an Oscar, despite creating so many classic films?

Raging Bull is considered one of the great American films. Do you ever hear anyone talk about Ordinary People? Well, that did win the Oscar for best picture of 1980.

How about Rocky beating out Network for best picture in 1976?

Better yet, how about Citizen Kane losing to How Green Was My Valley in 1941?

One could go on and on, but I have places to go and people to see.

I would stand with those who look on the Oscars as an especially glamorous employee-of-the-year awards. But I can't take them too seriously when some of the best films in history weren't the best films of their given year.

Now, as an opportunity to cruelly mock maudlin acceptance speeches or bad fashion sense? That's different!

If I could be anywhere this weekend, it would be at the Razzies, celebrating the worst in film!

Here's a piece of trivia for you: Canada's own Tom Green is possibly the only "star" to show up to receive one of his Razzies in person. Brought his own chunk of red carpet and everything!

Now, trivia fans, for what film from his impressive body of work did Mr. Green win?

- The Chicken Tree

- Superstar

- Road Trip

- Freddy Got Fingered
