I made a late-night post on the CTV.ca election blog entitled Perceived political party corruption: A widespread phenomenon.

What I find interesting is that Ukraine, a country where there is much more real corruption than Canada, people perceive their political parties as poorly as we do ours -- 3.9 out of 5, with five being the worst.

Actually, in 45 of 69 countries, political parties were perceived to be the most corrupt, which tells me this is a widespread problem.

And just as I was getting ready to finish thinking really deep thoughts for this morning and head off to bed, I see this on the BBC website: India MPs suspended for bribes.
