This is something I haven't seen any North American publication do: Offer up a chunk of its website as a guide to using freedom of information laws.

It talks about how to file FOI requests to obtain information about one's self, public bodies, on environmental matters and using such laws in Scotland.

The site also archives some news stories and special investigations that could only have been done with FOI.
