I found out, quite by accident, that I was nominated for best new blog award in the 2004 Canadian Blog Awards. Since I've never won a blogging award before, it would be a historic achievement if I did it this time. And you can help!

Allow me to note that the Hollywood North Report is one of the nominees for the best non-political blog -- and most humorous (it is a good blog to laugh ........ with :^) ).

However, its author, Sarah Marchildon, was in blog recovery in a Muskoka snowbank at the moment and may not emerge until spring (if then). But she's now back at the keyboard.

Anyways, if you like my blog better than those other ones -- and really, I think you should vote for me simply because of the creativity I showed in naming it -- please vote for it. Actually, you can vote for it more than once -- just not more than once per day.

I feel vaguely uncomfortable with this process, but if I don't pimp myself, who will? :)
