The New York Times has produced the best I've seen yet. There's an excellent use of multimedia to convey what happened from a variety of viewpoints, while the stunning photogalleries display the aftermath across the regions. CBC.ca's interactive map is slick and infographic-like at first, but it contains layers of multimedia information.

Also, and I may be a bit biased, but the Globe and Mail's is quite good for a text heavy piece. Canadian Press also provided a good interactive (it, too, can be found at CBC.ca).
