Generally speaking, Bill Clinton is an in-control kinda guy. Which made his performance on Fox News Sunday all the more remarkable!
You can see some of the video at this CTV.ca story.
What tripped his trigger were questions about his administration's response to the rising threat posed by al Qaeda in the late 1990s and tail end of his adminstration.
An excerpt of what Clinton said:
Clinton accused host Chris Wallace of a "conservative hit job" and asked: "I want to know how many people in the Bush administration you asked, 'Why didn't you do anything about the Cole?' I want to know how many people you asked, 'Why did you fire Dick Clarke?'"
He was referring to the USS Cole, attacked by terrorists in Yemen in 2000, and former White House anti-terrorism chief Richard A. Clarke.
If the answers are 'none' and 'none,' perhaps Mr. Clinton has a reason for feeling picked on.
